Parents should monitor their emotions when talking about school, show sincere interest and demonstrate their positive attitude towards school life as much as possible, tell how interesting it is.
Control that the child does not hear anything bad about the school from parents and close friends.
Go out with the child more often, show that the world is interesting.
Give the opportunity to attend groups and other interesting activities where the child communicates with peers and teachers, without the involvement of parents.
Arrange game days with friends, when the child goes to visit his friend’s family for a few hours, without parents. It is important at this moment to tell that it is interesting and cool, that you don’t necessarily need to be with your parents all the time to feel good.
Follow the routine at home. It is important to make the child’s free time meaningful, with activities that are related to school life. If there is an unlimited phone and cartoons at home, the desire to go to school will be much less.
After the school day, ask what interesting things you studied/did today, keep a diary of positive school moments.
Set and save the daily schedule. Daily getting up and going to bed should be on a clear schedule.
Teach the child self-service in the toilet and other household moments that a schoolchild needs.
