Founder & President

Natalya Rakevich, PhD, is the Founder and President of Vela Well-Being Inc. She is an educator, researcher, counselor, well-being coach, consultant, trainer, and presenter with extensive experience supporting students, educators, psychologists, families, and helping professionals.
Her work brings together educational leadership, counseling, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, social-emotional learning, and cross-cultural communication. Through Vela Well-Being, Natalya has prepared and delivered webinars, workshops, professional development series, lectures, case study discussions, and support groups for thousands of Ukrainian psychologists, educators, and other helping professionals. She also provides consultations to organizational leaders on well-being, healthy coping strategies, and trauma-informed practices.
Natalya’s background includes experience in college success coaching, school counseling, curriculum and program development, student mentoring, teacher supervision, and community-based educational programs. She has worked with diverse student populations, including English language learners and students with individualized support needs, and has helped students and families navigate academic planning, college readiness, career pathways, and personal growth. Natalya brings a deeply human and culturally sensitive perspective to her work.
Lindsay Stewart, Ph.D

Lindsay Stewart PhD, is the director and founder of Sweet Tree Arts and Sweet Tree School. She has been teaching in the arts and alternative education settings for 20 + years. Originally from Scotland, Stewart moved to the USA in 2000. She gained her Masters and Doctorate in Education at Lesley University and received her undergraduate degree from Colby College. Lindsay is passionate about sharing ideas locally and globally around creative thinking, growth mindset and listening and responding through the arts.
