Breathing in Light, Breathing Out Tension

Take a moment to become aware of your breathing.

You do not need to change anything yet. Simply notice:

Where do you feel your breath?

Perhaps you notice the air entering through your nose.
Perhaps you feel movement in your chest, your abdomen, or somewhere else in your body.

Take a slow, comfortable breath in.

And breathe out a little longer.

Now gently scan your body.

Notice whether you are holding tension anywhere. It may be in your shoulders, your jaw, your hands, your legs, or another part of your body.

There is nothing you need to fix. Just notice.

Take another breath in and imagine that you are breathing in light.

Imagine this light gently moving through your body, reaching every cell.

Pause for a moment and notice the light within you.

Now bring your attention to a place where you noticed tension.

Imagine breathing directly into that place.

Breathe in light.
Breathe in space.
Breathe in awareness.

As you breathe out, imagine allowing some of the tension to leave.

You do not have to force it away.

Simply let go of whatever is ready to be released.

Take another gentle breath.

Breathe in light, warmth, joy, or whatever you need today.

And breathe out anything that no longer serves you in this moment.

Notice your body again.

Has anything changed?

Perhaps you feel lighter. Perhaps you feel calmer. Perhaps nothing has changed at all.

Simply notice.

To finish, gently rub your palms together until you feel some warmth. Place them softly over your closed eyes or rest them wherever feels comfortable.

Take two more slow breaths.

When you are ready, lower your hands and gently open your eyes.

Return to the space around you.

You are here. You are breathing. You are present.
